TULSA, Okla. (Oct. 9) - Keith Haney Racing will have a new weapon in its arsenal for the final two races of 2013, beginning with the Throw Down in T-Town this weekend at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park.

Team owner Keith Haney has a new Reher-Morrison Racing Engines powerplant for his Pro Mod Chevrolet Camaro as the team hopes to step up its performance there and at the ADRL season-finale at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston.

"We bought a new motor for the red car, an 855-cubic-inch Reher-Morrison engine," Haney said. "We tested it last weekend, and it went great. We've got two races left in the year, and we want to leave with a bang.

"Having RacingJunk.com and Lucas Oil for the remainder of the year is pretty exciting, and we hope to reward them with some good showings."

Haney will have a different teammate in Tulsa, with Monroe Guest returning to what was known as "the black car." Both KHR cars are sporting a pink paint scheme for the final two races in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Cancer Sucks! foundation.

Keith Haney Racing sends a special thank-you to Kryptonite Kustomz in Broken Arrow, Okla., for the great job on the pink wrap for the two cars.

Guest will drive in Tulsa and NHRA Pro Stock star Erica Enders-Stevens at the ADRL race in her hometown of Houston.

"We've had an interesting few weeks off," Haney said. "We made some adjustments to the black car, and we'll have Monroe Guest in the car for the Throw Down."

Guest is returning to the team for the first time since shoulder surgery. Haney tested Guest's car last weekend and saw improved performance.

"We freshened that up for Monroe," Haney said. "I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do with it. I made eight passes in testing in the black car, and it went down all but one time. We made some changes to try to make it faster for the last two races of the year."

Keith Haney will run a new engine in his car at the final events of the season.
